After reading about how Chris "Jesus" Ferguson turned $0 into $10,000.00 playing online poker, it made me wonder if I could do it to. I decided to invest $100.00 into an online poker site and see if I could win anything.

I figured, starting out with only $100.00 would be rough if I wanted to play cash games, so I'm going to stick to tournaments, usually single-table tournaments. I'm going to try and practice good bankroll management to minimize any losses, and hopefully knowing that I'll have people following my progress will help limit my stupid bluff all-ins.

My Rules

Hopefully by creating a set of rules I will minimize my losses. The following rules are loosely based on Chris Ferguson's Challenge Rules, but altered a little because of my lack of poker experience. These rules will probably evolve as I progess further into my challenge.

1. Never buy into a single-table tournament for more than 5 percent of your total bankroll.
2. Never buy into a two or three table tournament for more than 1 percent of your total bankroll.
3. Never buy into a tournament larger than three tables for more than half a percent of your total bankroll.
